What is ThermiVa®?
ThermiVa® is an in-office, nonsurgical procedure for labia and vaginal tightening that is quick and painless. ThermiVa® uses finely controlled thermal energy to promote collagen synthesis and tighten the labia and vaginal canal. There is no downtime after treatment. Women can immediately return to their normal activities and even resume sexual activity on the same day.
How Does ThermiVa® Work?
The ThermiVa® treatment device is specially designed for the safety and comfort of women. Emsella®
Emsella is a unique electromagnetic chair with a mechanism of action that is completely different from anything that exists in the non-invasive field of incontinence treatment. It uses a high-intensity electromagnetic field to activate motor neurons in the pelvic floor.
It is a well-known fact that urinary stress and urge incontinence are caused by pelvic relaxation, birth trauma, and sometimes systemic pathology. A large proportion of the treatments available involve medication and are surgical in nature. Studies have shown that after one year, more than 50% of patients stop using their medication because of the numerous side effects of the medications used to treat overactive bladder. Botox injections into the lower segment of the bladder and surgical slings are very effective but are surgical in nature and therefore very invasive.

How Does Emsella® Work?
Emsella is a first-of-its kind technology; it is able to painlessly contract and fascinate pelvic floor muscles 11,200 times in a 23-minute session. The treatment protocol is 2 treatments per week for 3 weeks for a total of 6 treatments. The treatment is quite relaxing and easy; patients can sit on the electromagnetic chair fully seated, reading a magazine or listening to music. There is no downtime after each session; you can have your session during your lunch break, and you can eat while having a treatment!

Is Emsella® Non-Invasive?
Over the years, devices that are non-invasive in nature have been developed; they either include radiofrequency administration into the vagina or some form of delivery system for CO2 laser heat thermal energy. The buildup of collagen is the mechanism of action for these devices and this seems to aid in solving the stress incontinence issue and sometimes helps in overactive bladder scenarios. But the issue has never been inadequate collagen; the real issue of incontinence is the relaxation of the pelvic diaphragm or pelvic floor. The baseline etiology of these reasons for incontinence is neurogenic and muscular in nature, which brings us to Emsella.

Morpheus8V®
This FDA-approved, single-use disposable device combines microneedling with fractional radiofrequency (RF) to rejuvenate tissue both inside and outside the vagina. Topical anesthesia is a quick, efficient, non-surgical, minimally invasive technique that can be performed in an office environment. Patients commonly need one to three treatments in order to achieve the best outcomes, with typical treatment sessions lasting 20 minutes. It is possible to combine amdrop/platelet injections with Morpheus 8V. Amdrop/platelet injections are strongly advised for the treatment of lichen sclerosis.

AVIVA®
For people who would prefer not to have surgery, AVIVA is an alternative. It is most frequently used in place of labia majora reduction surgery. Under local anesthesia, AVIVA is a clinically validated, minimally invasive in-office procedure that takes less than 20 minutes to complete. Hemostasis and coagulation are two processes that this treatment uses to encourage tissue remodeling, which is essentially skin tightening.
Between the two electrodes, energy is applied to cause heat dispersion, hemostasis, and coagulation, which in turn cause skin contraction and tissue remodeling. This causes the skin to tighten. When the skin of the labia majora is loose and drooping, this is the most frequently treated spot.
